Growing up in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, Canada, Greg started playing hockey at the tender age of 3 and has been involved in some facet of the game ever since, playing college hockey, coaching and scouting Canadian junior and major junior hockey, conducting hockey schools and power skating clinics, and now ownership.
He has seen the Ice Flyers play for the SPHL President’s Cup in both seasons he has been involved with the team, losing to Columbus in his first season and winning the Cup this past season to bring the city of Pensacola and Escambia County their first professional team championship.
After working at one of the top Canadian investment firms, he changed his direction to follow his entrepreneurial roots in the health care industry in Canada with businesses he continues to operate. Greg has also begun investing in the Pensacola area with investments in new businesses.
He has made a commitment to increase the visibility of the players, the organization and the Ice Flyers’ brand through increased media coverage and advertising, while also further expanding the fan experience at every Ice Flyers’ game.
