Ice Flyers Lose 4-1 to Havoc

PENSACOLA, Fla. (January 27, 2018) – Pensacola fell to Huntsville 4-1 Saturday night at The Hangar. Patrick Harrison scored for the Ice Flyers. Tommy Tsicos, Carter Shinkaruk, Stuart Stefan and Justin Fox scored for the Havoc. Gordon Defiel stopped 16 of 20 shots in the loss for Pensacola. Keegan Asmundson stopped 30 of 31 shots in the win for Huntsville.
Huntsville scored first at 7:35 of the first period. Tommy Tsicos scored, with assists from Kyle Sharkey and Stuart Stefan. Pensacola tied the game at 15:04 of the first period on Patrick Harrison’s first goal of the season. Garrett Milan and Charlie Adams assisted on the goal.
Carter Shinkaruk gave the Havoc the lead with an unassisted goal at 4:07 of the second period. Stuart Stefan gave Huntsville a two-goal lead with an unassisted power play goal with less than a second left in the second period. Justin Fox put the game away for the Havoc with a goal at 13:17 of the third period that was assisted by Alex Botten and Stephen Hrehoriak.
