The Pensacola Ice Flyers have signed two more rookies, forward Bill Foster and goalie Ross MacKinnon, for the 2012-13 season.

"Bill and Ross were both important parts of Neumann College's strong hockey program for the last four years," declared head coach, Gary Graham. He was named captain for his sophomore, junior, and senior years and finished off his college career scoring 13 points in 25 games.

"Coming from the collegiate level, I am extremely excited to have the opportunity to come to Pensacola and develop at the professional level," said Foster. I have heard how great the community and organization is, and I will contribute in any way possible to make sure that Pensacola has a successful hockey season."

MacKinnon will be joining the Ice Flyers for his first season in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). He was the starting goalie for Neumann for four straight seasons and was an integral part of the 2008-09 team that took home the Division III national championship. During his senior year, MacKinnon had a record of 9-4-3 with a 2.95 goals-against average, 0.909 save percentage and three shutouts.

"I'm excited to continue my hockey career," MacKinnon commented. "I can think of no better place than playing hockey with the Pensacola Ice Flyers. The Ice Flyers' strong hockey community and dedicated fans and front office staff make me look forward to the hockey season.
